Check out Grist's handy article for greening your fridge. They offer advice on which model to buy, where to keep it, and what to put in it. Of course the standard advice applies: buy from eco-conscious companies (with beer recommendations!), skip bottled water, and stick with organics – and in case you can't buy organic, they provide this useful list of the conventional produce you should avoid at all cost.
